December 2019 Update
Happy Holidays!
Our board game bonanza was a huge success. If you were there, thank you for your donation, and I hope you had fun.
Since then, we had a field trip to the Capitol building, and got the full tour. We went up to the top and got to meet the governor! We learned about the three branches of government, and how the capital was built. The whole building is 400 ft tall.
We also got a new class hermit crab, named Zebulon. Our others are Roald, Valario, and Anthony.
We even got to meet an author from Cambridge, England; Giulietta M. Spudich, the author of ‘The Ice Giant’, ‘The Amber Giant’, and ‘The Element Girls’.
Upper elementary is starting to plan a fundraiser for Team Trees, which will most likely happen in the spring. The details are not yet set.
We had a field trip to Morrill Hall and the students all did a project on an exhibit there.
